Building Details

DECKS

	These Decks were done at Harness Estates there are about 10 of them Different shapes and sizes as well as different material, Cedar, Trek, and Treated wood and all plastic railings and columns
	There is another tier added to an existing deck which will be turned into a screen porch there are a lot of nice features here, including pool seats that open up to hold supplies
	2 more deck as well as a sliding door one in new Windsor one in Newburgh

Material

there are a few different deck building materials there is also a price difference. I prefer Trek or Veranda, not only it will last longer it is easier to install without splitting and chipping, due to the weather and is easier to maintain

Upkeep

depending on what kind of decking you choose clean the decking at least once a year with a good cleaner if you have a wood deck you will want to stain it every year to stop splitting and another damage, even though it is treated wood

Railing

Which ever decking you choose a white plastic railing system is preferred again because it will not split or warp like regular wooden spindles and will give you many more years of beauty
